How the Royal Marsden encouraged people to 'Make our Day' by contributing to a £30m capital appeal..

The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign invited patients and their friends to 'Sponsor a Day'. Promoted in the main reception area, through newsletters and on the website, names were added daily to large wall-mounted year planners in the Chelsea and Sutton hospitals and could also be viewed on a virtual on-line calendar.

Over two years 1103 names were recorded on the calendars, raising more than £191,000 for the appeal.
