Look at how much they spend on fundraising as opposed to programmes (charitable activities). This information can be found in their accounts.
Accounts may be available on their website, or can be found online via www.guidestar.org.uk (from late 2005)
BUT remember it is not that simple, for all the reasons explained elsewhere in this section.
